In defence media today there is coverage of recent RAF strikes against Daesh. The winners of the Army photographic competition winners have also been announced.
RAF Strike Update
The Sun reports that RAF jets and drones have destroyed 46 Daesh targets over a four day period from Friday 21st October to Monday 31 October.
An MOD Spokesperson said:
“With Iraqi forces liberating the key towns of Qaraqosh and Bartallah east of Mosul, Royal Air Force aircraft have continued to provide close air support, including to Kurdish forces pressing against Mosul from the north.”
