There is widespread coverage today of the Royal Navy’s record £65m drug seizure after a raid in the Indian Ocean, including in The Times, Daily Mail, Daily Star, Daily Record, The Herald, The Sun, and the Daily Mirror. HMS Monmouth’s commanding officer Ian Feasey describes the operation’s significance  in the Daily Mirror, while the Herald focuses on the Scots-born officer who led the boarding operation alongside a force of Royal Marines. Several papers note that HMS Monmouth is part of French-led maritime counter-terror Combined Task Force 150.
