Nigeria training
The Daily Mirror today looks at British training provided to Nigerian forces. The paper reports in a feature piece that Nigerian special forces have been trained by British soldiers from the Specialised Infantry Group picked from 1 Scots, and that the Nigerian personnel have spoken of the atrocities they have witnessed. The article adds that elsewhere, the British Military Advisory Training Team is attempting to help forces win the counter-insurgency war. The Sun also reports on this British military support to Nigeria.
