Armistice Centenary

There is widespread coverage across national and regional broadcast media and press concerning next weekend's Armistice Day. Coverage notes tributes paid by the Prime Minister and her planned visit to the first and last British soldiers killed in the First World War at a ceremony in Mons, Belgium.

The Mail on Sunday reports a story that some of the ‘Silent Silhouettes’ put up around the country to commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War have been defaced and smashed up.
