Invictus Games Team Trials

The Times, Daily Mail, Daily Star, Daily Mirror, Daily Express and Press & Journal report on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle meeting Invictus Games hopefuls at the University of Bath.

Over 400 wounded, injured and sick serving personnel and veterans are competing in the UK team trials this weekend in nine adaptive sports ahead of the fourth Games in Sydney this October.

Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson said:

I wish all our serving troops and veterans taking part in this year's trials the best of luck. The Invictus Games demonstrate the positive impact of sport in the recovery process, and provide inspiration and opportunity to those that have suffered life changing injuries and illnesses whilst serving their country and keeping Britain safe.
