Diversity & Inclusion Objective

There is continued coverage this morning on the military's new mandatory Diversity and Inclusion Objectives, including in The Daily Star. The article says that the Chief of the General Staff, General Sir Nick Carter is looking to recruit more women, LGBT and ethnic minority troops into the Army. The story is also reported in The Daily Telegraph

An MOD spokesperson said:

We added this objective because we are committed to promoting a modern, diverse and inclusive workplace across the military. A key part of this is ensuring that everyone in Defence takes the lead.
