Defence Secretary, The Right Honourable Sir Micaheal Fallon (right) unveils the new plaque at Ark Royal Building in Portsmouth Naval Base with Commodore Jeremy Rigby (left). Defence Secretary Sir Michael Fallon visited Portsmouth today (25 Nov 2016) to view some of the final preparations for the arrival of HMS Queen Elizabeth. Sir Michael toured parts of HM Naval Base Portsmouth to see the progress of the latest work in preparation for the first of the largest warships ever built for the Royal Navy. The Defence Secretary also opened the new Ark Royal building on Princess Royal jetty, which has been set up in support of the new carriers.
